Dear Prospective Parents, 

Welcome to Sausalito Nursery School, affectionately called SNS! I know how extremely important finding the right school is for your family. As a mother and educator, I too have spent countless hours researching the best education for my child, I found it all a bit overwhelming! I can tell you that in my research, something interesting emerged. 

In countless studies and the latest research of the happiest nations around the world, play and exploration are highlighted as essential to the development of abstract thinking, creativity and most importantly emotional intelligence. In a world where EQ is quickly becoming more indicative of future success than IQ, here at SNS, we take play seriously. Which doesn’t mean we don’t also do plenty of learning! The teachers here bridge the gap between play and academics beautifully. Every day, I watch them seamlessly integrate academic learning into play..

Finally,  as someone who has worked at many schools in my career in early childhood education, I have never seen a more vibrant, welcoming and loving environment. SNS just shines.
